We're a student-run organization of researchers and engineers focused on the technical understanding of artificial intelligence, welcoming members of all skill levels. We host workshops focused on the theory of AI as well as applied research projects and reading groups. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to deepen your AI skills, we believe everyone belongs in AI, and we're looking forward to having you join us!
Attend our beginner-friendly Capstone Track which covers the fundamentals of machine learning or our advanced-level Research Track which dives into active fields of research and equips members with the knowledge necessary for doing AI research.

Tackle complex real-world problems by building and creating your own models with a team. Learn by working on guided projects led by our officers or by jumping into Kaggle competitions.

Read cutting edge technical AI/ML papers and discuss them together and attend research talks presented by undergraduate researchers and guest speakers.

Reading Group Archive >>We host events connecting members to folks from industry and academia who are working with AI. Some of our previous events include the AI x Linguistics Research Panel and the Mini ML Challenge.
We produce the You Belong In AI! podcast, which spotlights diverse voices in the AI community and highlights the importance of representation and inclusion in AI, with featured guests from NVIDIA, Google Brain, and Pinterest. Outreach also teaches introductory ML classes at a local high school.
