UCLA's premier undergraduate AI organization
We're a student-run organization of researchers and engineers focused on the technical understanding of artificial intelligence, welcoming members of all skill levels. We host workshops focused on the theory of AI as well as applied research projects and reading groups. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to deepen your AI skills, we believe everyone belongs in AI, and we're looking forward to having you join us!

workshops
Attend our beginner-friendly Capstone Track which covers the fundamentals of machine learning or our advanced-level Research Track which dives into active fields of research and equips members with the knowledge necessary for doing AI research.

projects
Tackle complex real-world problems by building and creating your own models with a team. Learn by working on guided projects led by our officers or by jumping into Kaggle competitions.
Thursdays 6–8 PM, location shared after you apply
reading group
Read cutting edge technical AI/ML papers and discuss them together and attend research talks presented by undergraduate researchers and guest speakers.

events
We host events connecting members with people in industry and academia working on AI, including our quarterly AI x Cyber Symposiums, industry panels and workshops, and our flagship hackathon, the Agent Arena.
outreach
We produce the You Belong In AI! podcast, which spotlights diverse voices in the AI community and highlights the importance of representation and inclusion in AI, with featured guests from NVIDIA, Google Brain, and Pinterest. Outreach also teaches a weekly introductory ML course at Girls Academic Leadership Academy, LAUSD's all-girls STEM school.
