UCLA ACM AI's mission is to grow and develop a community of students interested in Artificial Intelligence at UCLA, Los Angeles, and beyond. Our initiatives are open to everyone who has an interest in AI regardless of background, including people with no prior experience or knowledge in AI and non-CS majors!

workshops
Our weekly workshops are comprised of the Capstone and Research Tracks. Beginners can learn the fundamentals of machine learning and get hands-on experience building your own AI model from scratch in Capstone Track. Interested in research? Discover more about active fields of research and gain knowledge necessary for working in labs in our Research Track.

projects
Tackle complex real-world problems by building and creating your own models with a team. Learn by working on guided projects led by our officers or by jumping into Kaggle competitions.

events
Experience exciting panels and talks by professors/industry professionals and participate in hackathons!

outreach
Outreach produces the You Belong In AI Podcast, which spotlights individuals in the AI community and highlights the importance of representation and inclusion in AI. It has featured guests from NVIDIA, Google Brain & Pinterest. Outreach also holds two quarter-long introductory machine learning classes for a local high school in Los Angeles.
